It’s getting near the end of the year when we

have a month of partying, lunches, dinners,

then the big Xmas Day and New Year binges

 

You might also be thinking about those New

Year resolutions you made, did you keep them?

I’m in a great position at the Studio at the

moment, I only have 8 places free in the

evenings and 9 at lunchtimes and it looks

like I could be fully booked before the year

ends

 

Ideally I would like everyone to start over

the next few weeks, I have more time free

for training, I an keep you going over the

festivities and you’ll get a head start on

everyone else in January

 

So, I’ve chosen the questions I get asked

the most, in case you have them too

 

What do you do?

Yeah, I’m not going to answer that quickly

but in a nutshell I look after you with regards

to exercise and nutrition with some success

coaching in there too

 

What kind of exercise is it?

All kinds, mainly strength training with barbells,

kettlebells or bodyweight. Sometimes it’s a

circuit or a complex or metabolic, it could be

legs, upper body or core

 

What matters is, it is varied, challenging and

interesting, fun too, at least when you are

sharing the pain with others

 

How many people do you train?

In the evenings it’s a maximum of 6 people,

lunchtimes might be 8 and a 1:1 is 1

 

What if I’m so unfit and ridiculously weak?

I’ve been doing this for 18 years and I’ve

trained hundreds, possibly thousands of

women.

 

It makes no difference to me if you can or

can’t do something, my job is to train you

and that’s the part of the job I love the most

 

What is group training, is not just like a class?

A class is pre planned, starts and finished at a

certain time and everyone does the same exercises

With group training the group gets a specific

workout each day, a good all rounder

 

But you also have a personalised programme to

follow, in your folder or you can ask for something

new, like if you some in with sore legs, ask me to

quickly put something together for you

 

It’s more like personal training than a class

 

Everyone else will be better than me!

Yeah they probably will but most of them have

been with me for 5-10 years, I would hope they

would be better than you

 

My clients are there to support you, they will

let you shadow them, work as a pair with you,

teach you the tips and keep you right and I

love listening to them, I’m proud they sound

like me

 

What about payments?

You would sign up for a monthly membership,

prices start at £50 per month. It comes out on

the first or each month and it’s a months notice

for cancelation

 

You don’t just get the sessions in your membership

you also get half price workshops, free access to

WeightLess, a 1:1 coaching session a month and

half price Saturday yoga
